MCP eSIM servers, compared
More than a dozen eSIM servers are now listed in the official Model Context Protocol registry, and they are not variations on one design. The biggest split is how you pay: some settle inside the conversation from a balance you have topped up in advance, others hand you a checkout link. That one choice decides which of them can serve you at all. Here is what the published documentation says, so you can pick on facts rather than on ranking.

Compiled 17 August 2026 from the official MCP registry, the Smithery registry and each provider's own documentation. Tool counts are what each server publishes, not a quality measure — a server with five well-chosen tools can be a better fit than one with thirty. These products change quickly; check the provider's current docs before relying on any row.
This table is not the whole field. Three further servers — BuyUKeSIM, Roamzy and WorldCitiSim — publish travel eSIM tools that we could not inspect in detail, so we have left them out rather than characterise them from a listing alone.
Also in the registry, different job
A search for "eSIM MCP" also turns up servers built for something other than travel data. SecondSim issues UK second phone numbers for two-factor codes and business messaging. Carrier MCP is an operations toolkit for mobile virtual network operators — subscriber management, network steering, fleet analytics. Both do their own job; neither is trying to sell you a holiday data plan.
Which one fits you
If an agent has to buy with nobody watching — a scheduled job, an unattended pipeline — you need a server that settles from a prepaid balance. PikaSim, AgentRoam and ConnectMeGuru are built for that, and a checkout link is no use to you. We are not in that segment.
If you are a traveller talking to an assistant — Claude, Cursor, Copilot, with you at the keyboard — a checkout link is one tap, and it keeps the purchase on ordinary commerce rails: a real credit card, a receipt, a refund policy, human support. There is nothing to fund up front and nothing left sitting in a balance.
What we do differently
- Unlimited plans priced by the day. Our checkout tool takes a day count for unlimited plans, so a 9-day trip costs 9 days. Reading the published tool schemas above on 17 August 2026, we did not find another eSIM MCP server exposing that — if one does, tell us and we will correct this page.
- Nothing to set up before you ask a question. Search, plan details, checkout links and order status work with no API key, no wallet and no sign-in.
- The trip continues after the sale. Once you connect your account, the assistant can list your eSIMs, see which accept more data, and build a top-up onto the eSIM you already installed — no second QR code.
- A storefront behind the server. Orders, refunds, email receipts and support run through the same hungry-esim.com that non-agent customers use.
